Daniel McCarthy, editor of Modern Age and The American Conservative and former coordinator of the 2008 Ron Paul campaign for president, is claiming that some non-interventionists are behaving as “reverse neocons” by claiming that President Trump should have exerted his influence or power to stop Israel from attacking Iran.

“Trump doesn’t control Israel and Israel doesn’t control Trump. If you say the U.S. shouldn’t tell other countries what to do, but you insist the U.S. should have stopped Israel from attacking Iran, you’re not exactly a non-interventionist.”

On today’s episode we’ll explain why McCarthy’s argument doesn’t hold up.

Using American weapons and American taxpayer money, the government of Israel bombed Iran yesterday, and seemingly has the full support of the Trump regime. President Trump and Vice President Vance are demanding that the Federal Reserve lower interest rates to create a false boom in the economy that would inevitably go bust and lead to a downturn, but probably not until after they’re safely out of office.

My response to Vance on X did not go what anyone would call viral, but certainly is one of my biggest tweets ever leading to almost 20 new followers in a few hours.

“Artificially manipulating interest rates at all is counterfeit and theft. That’s what you’re advocating.”

The Austrian School of economics teaches us, to put it simply, that keeping interest rates artificially low creates money out of thin air and devalues the currency which is the cause of price inflation throughout the economy, and, worse, leads to malinvestments that create an artificial boom in the economy that inevitably goes bust leading to a recession.

Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States. Again. The main reason that I voted for Donald Trump in this election is because the Democratic Party chose to install their eventual nominee after hosting a rigged primary in favor of President Joe Biden, and their refusal to let Democratic voters choose the direction of the party is one of the big reasons, in my opinion, why the party keeps losing so spectacularly to Trump. When they had a relatively competitive primary in 2020 they beat him, and when they rigged the primaries in 2016 and 2024 they got crushed.

The vice president acted as if having to answer any question that wasn’t completely deferential to her was a serious affront, and that she should certainly not have to answer to anybody for any position she’s ever taken or anything that the Biden-Harris regime has done during her time in office. And how dare any of us expect otherwise?

We are still in the beta episodes here at Never Say Nothing, so I am still looking for feedback of any nature. For this episode I noticed that when I save the file so that I can upload it here to Substack, it’s saving at a much higher volume than the “mix” is playing at within GarageBand, which is the app I’ve been using to record the podcasts. I’m not sure why that is, and I’m planning to record the next episode in Audacity to see if I have more success with that. Dana Bash tries to make Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) look like an “election-denier” for not pledging to certify an election before it’s happened, despite the fact that there would be no reason to certify an election if you already knew that you were going to rubber-stamp the election. And that’s actually what the corporate media on behalf of the Kamala Harris campaign wants: A rubber-stamp of whatever they say the outcome of the election is.

Barack Obama believes that black men especially owe their vote to Kamala Harris because something something strong black women.

Here is CNN’s reporting regarding the comments from Barack Obama:

“You’re thinking about sitting out or supporting somebody (in former president Donald Trump) who has a history of denigrating you, because you think that’s a sign of strength, because that’s what being a man is? Putting women down?” Obama said. “That’s not acceptable.”

The problem, he suggested, was less complicated than some are making it out to be – and that it often comes down to sexism.

“You’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses, I’ve got a problem with that,” Obama said. “Because part of it makes me think – and I’m speaking to men directly – part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.”

And here is Seymour Hersh’s reporting on how Barack Obama led a cabal of Democratic Party insiders in removing President Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee for president.

By Saturday, July 20, former President Barack Obama was deeply involved, and there was talk that he would place a call to Biden. It was not clear whether Biden had been examined or just what happened to him in Las Vegas. “The Big Three,” the official said, referring to former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, continued to be directly involved. “On Sunday morning,” the official told me, with the approval of Pelosi and Schumer, “Obama called Biden after breakfast and said, ‘Here’s the deal. We have Kamala’s approval to invoke the 25th Amendment.” The amendment provides that when the president is determined by the vice president and others to be unfit to carry out the powers and duties of his office, the vice president shall assume those duties.

“It was clear at this point,” the official said, “that she would get the nod”—that is, the support to run for the presidency in the November election. “But Obama also made it clear,” the official said, “that he was not going to immediately endorse her. But the group had decided that her work as a prosecutor would help her deal with Trump in a debate.”
