The Abuse of Joe Biden
The same people who have been lying about President Biden's cognitive decline since the 2020 election are now trying to force him out for that very reason
If you watch any single clip of the vice presidential debate from 2012 between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan, let alone the entire event, you will see a very different Biden than we have today in 2024. You will even see a very different Biden from the 2020 presidential election, where the Democratic Party and corporate media tried to convince us that all of Biden’s issues stemmed from a childhood stammer that never affected him in his decades as a U.S. Senator or Vice President of the United States until just then.
President Joe Biden is clearly suffering from cognitive decline now, and has been since he began his 2020 campaign at the very latest. Joe Biden’s issues were apparent before he was even the Democratic Party nominee in 2020, let alone before he was elected president, and way before the first presidential debate of 2024 against Donald Trump. Prior to that debate, the Democratic Party and corporate media declared that any question about Biden’s diminished mental capacity was just a Republican talking point, a conspiracy theory, and, possibly, Russian disinformation. After that debate, however, the signal was given that it is now open-season on President Biden and his cognitive issues. Certain factions within the Democratic Party, those seemingly aligned with Barack Obama, want to remove President Biden as the Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election, and what was an offensive conspiracy theory five minutes prior to the debate became the official position of these people five minutes after the debate.
We don’t know the exact details of what happened, but what we can be certain of is that nobody with power and influence in the Democratic Party and nobody in the corporate media—who are effectively a part of the Democratic Party machine—watched the debate and were so shocked at how poorly Biden performed that they just couldn’t not talk about his cognitive decline. These are not principled people simply trying to give you the facts; they are propagandists telling you what you should be thinking and talking about. And the propaganda did not just change on a dime without a lot of behind the scenes maneuvering prior to the debate either. Biden’s cognitive decline has been apparent since the Democratic primaries in 2020—it was brought up by his Democratic opponents at the time. The same people who immediately turned on him after this debate are the same people who have been carrying water for him by smearing anyone who pointed out the obvious. They were not surprised, they were merely given new orders.
The simple fact of the matter is that the people in power in the Democratic Party, in the corporate media, and, yes, the United States government itself wanted to get Donald Trump out of the White House. Given the 2020 Democratic field of candidates, they determined that despite his obvious health issues Joe Biden was the strongest candidate to go up against Trump. They used this sick old man to get rid of their political enemy, and propagandized the public to do it. Now that it appears that Biden may no longer be the best bet to defeat Trump in 2024, the same people are turning against Biden and throwing him away. He is no longer useful for their purposes so they are not only willing to openly discuss his cognitive issues now, but are making sure nobody else can talk about anything else until he is willing to step out of the way so that somebody else can run against Trump.
I am not trying to suggest that President Biden did not want Donald Trump out of office, or that he himself did not want to be president. What I am suggesting is that in 2020 and certainly now in 2024, President Biden has not been mentally competent enough to make the actual decision to run for president. He was essentially forced to campaign, and to act as president, despite not being competent enough to meaningfully consent to these activities. The Democratic Party, his campaign, and his family used his name and body to achieve their political and personal ends, not caring what was best for him. This is obviously true because the cognitive decline that they are openly talking about now was as apparent in 2020 as it is now. They merely told us not to believe our lying eyes until it became politically untenable for them to continue doing so. Anyone who has tried to prop up Joe Biden’s campaign or presidency or lied about his obvious issues is guilty of neglect and abuse of this man and defrauding the American people. It is that simple.
Now, however, they have the problem of Joe Biden not being able to recognize his own infirmity and not agreeing to step aside when they want him to. He even gave a press conference—his first since November of last year—to try to prove that he’s on top of his game, and ended up referring to “Vice President Trump.”
I don’t know whether they will ultimately be able to convince President Biden to step aside as the Democratic nominee or not, right now he is adamant that he is staying in the race, but I think that it will be very difficult for his campaign to come back from his own party turning against him so openly. The contempt of the average Republican voter toward the Republican Party establishment was part of what made Donald Trump’s takeover of that party possible in the first place, so establishment figures like George W. Bush or Mitt Romney turning against Trump actually helped him. There is a much different dynamic at play within the Democratic Party. Democratic voters, whether they like to hear it or not, are much more likely to go along with the party establishment like Barack Obama, celebrity influencers like George Clooney, and mouth-pieces for the corporate press like Joe Scarborough than Republican voters would be.
The saving-grace for Biden is that this is happening four months before the election takes place in November and voters have short attention spans and shorter memories. I suspect we will not hear a word about Biden’s cognitive issues from Democratic politicians or the corporate media if he leaves the Democratic National Convention as the nominee a month from now. We may even find ourselves treated to an even more shameless spectacle of the people who are now pushing the cognitive decline narrative after previously refusing to cover it and calling you a racist if you pointed it out doing stories like, “Will the people who doubted President Biden ever apologize?” I don’t like trying to make predictions because you never know what story is going to come out and change everything—As I write this, the news is being dominated by a shooting at a Donald Trump rally in Pennsylvania where Trump was seemingly grazed by a bullet or a piece of shrapnel in his right ear, which is certain to be a huge moment in this election whatever else you want to say about it—but my guess is that President Biden will likely announce that he is not going to be the Democratic nominee for the 2024 election in the near future. The pressure seems too great, but you may rub my nose in it if I turn out to be wrong.
There is something so disgusting about how these people have used Joe Biden since the 2020 election, and their current ideas for how to replace him as the nominee so technocratic and divorced from anything resembling the democracy they have so self-righteously appointed themselves the saviors of that I can’t help but hope that he sticks to his guns and refuses to give them what they want. Not to mention the fact that Hillary Clinton is already being floated as a possible replacement for Biden as the Democratic nominee, which is possibly the only thing that could make me consider voting for Donald Trump. Unfortunately, there really is no good outcome for the country, as I see it, so there isn’t much productive to do other than to sit back and watch the spectacle.
