How is President Biden undermining the incoming Trump regime by enacting a policy that has been explicitly endorsed—recently—by Trump’s nominated National Security Advisor? It seems to me, if anything, that Biden heard the will of the people in electing Donald Trump and decided to enact the policy that he seemingly wanted for him. We do not have to pretend that Donald Trump, who has chosen to nominate endless warmongers to his cabinet, is some kind of non-interventionist who represents some radical departure from the Biden regime. Biden merely continued and escalated the policies that were already put into place during Trump’s first-term, such as arming and funding Ukraine. If Trump thinks this policy is a mistake, then it is incumbent upon him to explain why he thinks so, which, to my knowledge, he has not done as of yet, and to also explain why Waltz was wrong to endorse it and why he still chose to nominate Waltz as his National Security Advisor despite being wrong on such an important issue of national security.
