We can all certainly feel empathy for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's newest cancer diagnosis, but it should be remembered that she had the opportunity during the Obama regime to step down and have a Democratic president with a Democratic Senate nominate and confirm a progressive as her successor.
